Terms of Service: Ownership, intellectual property and acceptable use (DRAFT, for legal review)
What's ours. Wannlabs owns Wannlabs, Ember and Store, along with everything we make to run them: our software, designs, layouts, icons, logos, names, templates, design system and documentation. You can use them only through our services and only as these Terms allow. Please don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer or rebrand them, or use our names or logos in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission.
What's yours. Your content belongs to you: your words, photos, logos, products, customer information and the websites and stores you create with our tools. We don't claim ownership of it.
What you let us do. So we can run the service, you give us permission to host, store, copy, display and process your content, but only to provide, secure and improve the services for you, and for as long as you use them. If you publish your site, you also let us show it publicly at the address you chose. You can delete your content at any time, and we'll remove it from our systems within a reasonable time, apart from backups and records we must keep by law.
AI-made content. Text, images and code that Ember makes for you at your request are yours to use, as far as the law allows. Similar results may be made for other people, so we can't promise they're unique. You're responsible for checking that what you publish doesn't break anyone else's rights. For example, don't copy another company's logo, photos or wording.
Other people's work. Some parts of our services use third-party materials under their own licenses, such as open-source fonts and stock video. Those stay under their original licenses, which are listed on our Credits page.
Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely and without owing you anything.
Respecting rights. If you believe something on Wannlabs infringes your copyright or trademark, email legal@wannlabs.com and we'll look into it promptly.
Acceptable use
You can't use Wannlabs, Ember, OpenSign/Store, the Wannlabs MCP or our Grok tools to build, host, sell or promote any of the following. We check requests, generated code, published sites and store products automatically, and people can report a site with the "Report this site" link on every published page.
- Child sexual abuse material. Any sexual content involving a minor. We block it, keep only what the law requires, suspend the account at once and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or Cybertip.ca and law enforcement.
- Phishing and credential theft. Pages that copy another company's sign-in or branding (banks, Google, Apple, Microsoft, PayPal and others), or that collect passwords, one-time codes, card numbers, ID numbers or wallet recovery phrases to send somewhere they don't belong.
- Malware. Hidden crypto-mining, keyloggers, disguised or obfuscated scripts, forced downloads, or anything that harms visitors' devices.
- Scams and fraud. Guaranteed-return investments, "send crypto and get double back", fake reviews, fake documents or IDs, advance-fee or fake tech-support schemes.
- Illegal or restricted goods and services. Illegal drugs, weapons trafficking or weapons without required checks, counterfeit or replica brand goods, stolen goods or data, and any business Stripe doesn't allow (see Stripe's restricted businesses list). Some legal but regulated products (such as CBD, firearms accessories, alcohol or supplements) are held for review before they go on sale.
- Adult content. Sexually explicit images, video or services.
- Hate and violence. Content that attacks people for who they are, promotes violent extremism, or explains how to make weapons.
What happens if something breaks these rules. We may refuse the request, hold a product for review, take a site offline, or pause the account, sometimes automatically and before a person has looked. Paused accounts can still see their data. If you think we got it wrong, email support@wannlabs.com and a person will review it. We keep a record of these actions.
